Had a great experience at Aangan Restaurant. The main course was a solid 10/10. Full of flavor and really well prepared. Desserts were below average (4/10), but overall the food and ambiance made it a worthwhile visit. Would definitely come back for the main course.

The crux of my experience with Aangan.....its not worth the hype at all. We ordered cheese keema naan, mutton dum biryani, madrasi handi and jangli soda. Keema naan tasted good however the filling was very disappointing. Biryani was full of kaju and kishmish which ruined the essence of how a biryani should taste like. Madrasi handi was simply masalay wala boneless chicken. I am still trying to wrap my head around the jungli soda, putting 20 chia seeds and a chilli in the drink didnt make any sense at all. It was just a syrup wala drink. I have a major issue with their pricing. My total bill was 7700 for 2 persons. Keema Naan was 1200 and the filling was disapponting. Biryani was 2400 and the dry fruits completely ruined the taste. Madrasi handi was also around 2000 and tasted just like masalay/gravy wala chicken. That syrup wala jungli soda was for 700. I dont know whats the logic behind such high prices but they failed to live up to the expectations. Sitting area was also very narrow and congested. People walking by were literally bumping in the chairs. Service was really good. Food was served within 20 to 25 minutes and staff was courteous. Final verdict. Not gonna visit again. If i have to spend this much money on such disappointing desi food, i would rather go to better and cheaper options within the same locality such as TLT, Villa, House of Mandi, Wazwan, Tandoori etc.

Loved the atmosphere and service, however biryani could be better in terms of spice and tangy-ness. It felt like eating masala chawal. The rest we got resham kabab and they were fantastic, so was the bean salad.

Good food, good ambiance and really good service. Totally recommend for desi food lovers.
